Can you tell your Queen from your Prince? Put your music knowledge to the test in a “name that tune” style music quiz in support of the Riverside South Community Association. Teams of players will be asked to identify song titles and artists from a snippet of music. Hosted by Tim McGurrin, the quizmaster at Bytown Quiz, this contest should offer something for everyone, casual listeners and music aficionados alike. If you’re up for a fun evening of entertainment and friendly competition for a great cause, book your tables now!

Fostering Change: A Night in Support of Youth in Care

Youth in Care Canada is hosting Fostering Change on Sunday, August 20th at the Rideau Carleton Raceway. Their objective is to help increase awareness about issues affecting youth in care and highlight the importance of continuing efforts to further national youth in care networks across Canada. Their goal is to raise $5,000 so that their organization can continue to provide support for youth in and from care via research, policy development, training, and continued development of community-level and provincial-level Canadian youth in care networks.

  • Permissions for instructional facilities in LC – Local Commercial Zones
  • Section 109 (2) – Location of parking in the L1 – Community Leisure Zone
  • Amusement Centres in Traditional Mainstreet Zones
  • Zoning Amendments to Support Land Efficiency and Flexibility at Schools Sites
  • Automobile-related uses – Outdoor storage in Industrial Zones
  • Section 100 – General Provisions (Parking, Queuing and Loading) regarding electric vehicle charging stations
  • Section 54 – New definition for Payday Loan Establishment
