Canada Day

Canada Day is always our biggest event of the year, and our goal is to make 2024 even more memorable than years past!

Enjoy inflatables, miniature train ride, rock climbing wall, laser tag, mini golf, obstacle course, dunk tank, shows by Little Ray's and Junkyard Symphony, toddler zone, live DJ, face painting, balloon clowns, and more!

Fun passes for unlimited access to the rides and entertainment only costs $14 in advance (or $18 at the event, cash only) for ages 3+. Individuals not going on rides are free.

New this year, we will have food trucks on site in place of our BBQ; enjoy options from Lou's Fast Food, Domino's Pizza, and Kona Ice with Le Donut Stop for some yummy food. We will also have snacks and drinks available for purchase at the field house canteen.

Ticket portal now open. The portal will close at midnight June 30. Fun passes can be purchased on site Monday, July 1 with cash only.

Join us at Claudette Cain Park on July 1 for a professional fireworks display sponsored by the Riverside South Limited Partnership (Urbandale, Richcraft, and HN Homes)!

Enjoy music starting at 8 pm and fireworks will begin at dusk (approx. 10 pm).

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the field house in the south field (cash only). Glow products will be available for purchase (cash only) in both the south and north fields.

Parking is very limited on site and we recommend either walking to the park or parking at nearby lots.

The Marketplace is back again this year! Nestled in the beautiful park area beside the gazebo (between the north and south field), the marketplace was added to our huge Canada Day event to accommodate an even bigger portion of our neighbourhood residents!  Our event has historically enticed 2000-3000 people, and it grows every year!

Our aim is to fill many of the spots with local artisans, crafters, and direct sellers (inventory at event) with a discounted rate of $40 per spot.  Please use the discount code "CRAFT" when checking out.

Local businesses and groups can also join without direct sales for an excellent opportunity to interact with their target market for the full rate of $250 per spot.

Sign ups are live for this year's RSCA Canada Day charity dunk tank!  Sign up to raise money for the charity, school or group of your choice!

Volunteer to take a 30 minute shift and raise money for your favourite charity, team or group!

Canada Day event attendees will have the opportunity to purchase throws to dunk their favourite person. 100% of the money raised by each person will go to support whatever they wish - it could be your child's sports team or school, a local charity that's near and dear to you, anything you like!

Spread the word to your family and friends about the time slot you pick and get ready for some fun in the sun!

Events like this don't happen without the wonderful support of our volunteers. We have 200 spots to fill, and as a thank you, our volunteers get free food for themselves and free fun passes for their kids/siblings.

High school students: this is a great opportunity to rack up some community volunteer hours!
